Tonight Is Movie Night :: Movies
The Kentucky Theater is showing Dr. Strangelove, or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, one of my top 10 movies of all time, at 7:15 tonight. Well, and this afternoon at 1:30, but I'd have class right about the time that General Ripper calls in Wing Attack Plan R. So, 7:15 it is.

They're also playing Garden State at 9:40, so I'll have time to get some dinner after Strangelove and then go see that one too, which looks pretty interesting. So, I'm going to have to call some people up and make a night of quality Kentucky Theater cinema. Mmm.

Responses to Fahrenheit 9/11 :: Movies

I loved Fahrenheit 9/11, I thought it was thought-provoking, entertaining, and in general an extremely important film. However, it's always good to read the response of the less enlightened..

Fahrenheit 9/11 :: Movies

Some friends and I saw Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 at like 12:30 am Friday night/Saturday morning. It was excellent. I recommend it to, even to the conservatives out there. Everyone needs to see this film. Maybe more on this later. It's sleepy time.

The Life of Brian :: Movies

In exciting pseudo-spiritual news, Slashdot reports that the seminal Monty Python movie The Life of Brian is being rereleased in theaters. Woo. BBC story is here.

Yes. "Always look on the bright side of life..." did pop into my head towards the end of The Passion of the Christ, which was otherwise quite a good film. And, yes, I am a terrible person. :)
